제 89 편

1   내가 여호와의 인자하심을 영원히 노래하며 주의 성실하심을 내 입으로 대대에 알게 하리이다
2   내가 말하기를 인자하심을 영원히 세우시며 주의 성실하심을 하늘에서 견고히 하시리라 하였나이다
3   주께서 이르시되 나는 내가 택한 자와 언약을 맺으며 내 종 다윗에게 맹세하기를
4   내가 네 자손을 영원히 견고히 하며 네 왕위를 대대에 세우리라 하셨나이다 (셀라)
5   여호와여 주의 기이한 일을 하늘이 찬양할 것이요 주의 성실도 거룩한 자들의 모임 가운데에서 찬양하리이다
6   무릇 구름 위에서 능히 여호와와 비교할 자 누구며 신들 중에서 여호와와 같은 자 누구리이까
7   하나님은 거룩한 자의 모임 가운데에서 매우 무서워할 이시오며 둘러 있는 모든 자 위에 더욱 두려워할 이시니이다
8   여호와 만군의 하나님이여 주와 같이 능력 있는 이가 누구리이까 여호와여 주의 성실하심이 주를 둘렀나이다
9   주께서 바다의 파도를 다스리시며 그 파도가 일어날 때에 잔잔하게 하시나이다
10   주께서 라합을 죽임 당한 자 같이 깨뜨리시고 주의 원수를 주의 능력의 팔로 흩으셨나이다
11   하늘이 주의 것이요 땅도 주의 것이라 세계와 그 중에 충만한 것을 주께서 건설하셨나이다
12   남북을 주께서 창조하셨으니 다볼과 헤르몬이 주의 이름으로 말미암아 즐거워하나이다
13   주의 팔에 능력이 있사오며 주의 손은 강하고 주의 오른손은 높이 들리우셨나이다
14   의와 공의가 주의 보좌의 기초라 인자함과 진실함이 주 앞에 있나이다
15   즐겁게 소리칠 줄 아는 백성은 복이 있나니 여호와여 그들이 주의 얼굴 빛 안에서 다니리로다
16   그들은 종일 주의 이름 때문에 기뻐하며 주의 공의로 말미암아 높아지오니
17   주는 그들의 힘의 영광이심이라 우리의 뿔이 주의 은총으로 높아지오리니
18   우리의 방패는 여호와께 속하였고 우리의 왕은 이스라엘의 거룩한 이에게 속하였기 때문이니이다

제 147 편

1   할렐루야 우리 하나님을 찬양하는 일이 선함이여 찬송하는 일이 아름답고 마땅하도다
2   여호와께서 예루살렘을 세우시며 이스라엘의 흩어진 자들을 모으시며
3   상심한 자들을 고치시며 그들의 상처를 싸매시는도다
4   그가 별들의 수효를 세시고 그것들을 다 이름대로 부르시는도다
5   우리 주는 위대하시며 능력이 많으시며 그의 지혜가 무궁하시도다
6   여호와께서 겸손한 자들은 붙드시고 악인들은 땅에 엎드러뜨리시는도다
7   감사함으로 여호와께 노래하며 수금으로 하나님께 찬양할지어다
8   그가 구름으로 하늘을 덮으시며 땅을 위하여 비를 준비하시며 산에 풀이 자라게 하시며
9   들짐승과 우는 까마귀 새끼에게 먹을 것을 주시는도다
10   여호와는 말의 힘이 세다 하여 기뻐하지 아니하시며 사람의 다리가 억세다 하여 기뻐하지 아니하시고
11   여호와는 자기를 경외하는 자들과 그의 인자하심을 바라는 자들을 기뻐하시는도다

¹   See, the Lord's hand is not too short to save,
          nor his ear too dull to hear.
²   Rather, your iniquities have been barriers
          between you and your God,
     and your sins have hidden his face from you
          so that he does not hear.
³   For your hands are defiled with blood,
          and your fingers with iniquity;
     your lips have spoken lies,
          your tongue mutters wickedness.
⁴   No one brings suit justly,
          no one goes to law honestly;
     they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies,
          conceiving mischief and begetting iniquity.
⁵   They hatch adders' eggs,
          and weave the spider's web;
     whoever eats their eggs dies,
          and the crushed egg hatches out a viper.
⁶   Their webs cannot serve as clothing;
          they cannot cover themselves with what they make.
     Their works are works of iniquity,
          and deeds of violence are in their hands.
⁷   Their feet run to evil,
          and they rush to shed innocent blood;
     their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity,
          desolation and destruction are in their highways.
⁸   The way of peace they do not know,
          and there is no justice in their paths.
     Their roads they have made crooked;
          no one who walks in them knows peace.

⁹   Therefore justice is far from us,
          and righteousness does not reach us;
     we wait for light, and lo! there is darkness;
          and for brightness, but we walk in gloom.
¹⁰  We grope like the blind along a wall,
          groping like those who have no eyes;
     we stumble at noon as in the twilight,
          among the vigorous as though we were dead.
¹¹  We all growl like bears;
          like doves we moan mournfully.
     We wait for justice, but there is none;
          for salvation, but it is far from us.
¹²  For our transgressions before you are many,
          and our sins testify against us.
     Our transgressions indeed are with us,
          and we know our iniquities:
¹³  transgressing, and denying the LORD,
          and turning away from following our God,
     talking oppression and revolt,
          conceiving lying words and uttering them from the heart.
¹⁴  Justice is turned back,
          and righteousness stands at a distance;
     for truth stumbles in the public square,
          and uprightness cannot enter.
¹⁵  Truth is lacking,
          and whoever turns from evil is despoiled.

     The LORD saw it, and it displeased him
          that there was no justice.
¹⁶  He saw that there was no one,
          and was appalled that there was no one to intervene;
     so his own arm brought him victory,
          and his righteousness upheld him.
¹⁷  He put on righteousness like a breastplate,
          and a helmet of salvation on his head;
     he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
          and wrapped himself in fury as in a mantle.
¹⁸  According to their deeds, so will he repay;
          wrath to his adversaries, requital to his enemies;
          to the coastlands he will render requital.
¹⁹  So those in the west shall fear the name of the LORD,
          and those in the east, his glory;
     for he will come like a pent-up stream
          that the wind of the LORD drives on.

²⁰  And he will come to Zion as Redeemer,
          to those in Jacob who turn from transgression, says the LORD.
²¹And as for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD: my spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your children, or out of the mouths of your children's children, says the LORD, from now on and forever.

^1:15You are aware that all who are in Asia have turned away from me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes. ¹⁶May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain; ¹⁷when he arrived in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me ¹⁸— may the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day! And you know very well how much service he rendered in Ephesus.

^2:1You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus; ²and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well. ³Share in suffering like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. ⁴No one serving in the army gets entangled in everyday affairs; the soldier's aim is to please the enlisting officer. ⁵And in the case of an athlete, no one is crowned without competing according to the rules. ⁶It is the farmer who does the work who ought to have the first share of the crops. ⁷Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

⁸Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David — that is my gospel, ⁹for which I suffer hardship, even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But the word of God is not chained. ¹⁰Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, so that they may also obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. ¹¹The saying is sure:
     If we have died with him, we will also live with him;
¹²  if we endure, we will also reign with him;
     if we deny him, he will also deny us;
¹³  if we are faithless, he remains faithful —
     for he cannot deny himself.

¹He left that place and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan. And crowds again gathered around him; and, as was his custom, he again taught them.

²Some Pharisees came, and to test him they asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” ³He answered them, “What did Moses command you?” ⁴They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of dismissal and to divorce her.” ⁵But Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote this commandment for you. ⁶But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ⁷‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, ⁸and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. ⁹Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

¹⁰Then in the house the disciples asked him again about this matter. ¹¹He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her; ¹²and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

¹³People were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them. ¹⁴But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. ¹⁵Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” ¹⁶And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.

제 1 편
1   복 있는 사람은 악인들의 꾀를 따르지 아니하며 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하며 오만한 자들의 자리에 앉지 아니하고
2   오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하여 그의 율법을 주야로 1)묵상하는도다
3   그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 철을 따라 열매를 맺으며 그 잎사귀가 마르지 아니함 같으니 그가 하는 모든 일이 다 형통하리로다
4   악인들은 그렇지 아니함이여 오직 바람에 나는 겨와 같도다
5   그러므로 악인들은 심판을 견디지 못하며 죄인들이 의인들의 모임에 들지 못하리로다
6   무릇 의인들의 길은 여호와께서 인정하시나 악인들의 길은 망하리로다

제 33 편
1   너희 의인들아 여호와를 즐거워하라 찬송은 정직한 자들이 마땅히 할 바로다
2   수금으로 여호와께 감사하고 열 줄 비파로 찬송할지어다
3   새 노래로 그를 노래하며 즐거운 소리로 아름답게 연주할지어다
4   여호와의 말씀은 정직하며 그가 행하시는 일은 다 진실하시도다
5   그는 공의와 정의를 사랑하심이여 세상에는 여호와의 인자하심이 충만하도다
6   여호와의 말씀으로 하늘이 지음이 되었으며 그 만상을 그의 입 기운으로 이루었도다
7   그가 바닷물을 모아 무더기 같이 쌓으시며 깊은 물을 곳간에 두시도다
8   온 땅은 여호와를 두려워하며 세상의 모든 거민들은 그를 경외할지어다
9   그가 말씀하시매 이루어졌으며 명령하시매 견고히 섰도다
10   여호와께서 나라들의 계획을 폐하시며 민족들의 사상을 무효하게 하시도다
11   여호와의 계획은 영원히 서고 그의 생각은 대대에 이르리로다
12   여호와를 자기 하나님으로 삼은 나라 곧 하나님의 기업으로 선택된 백성은 복이 있도다
13   여호와께서 하늘에서 굽어보사 모든 인생을 살피심이여
14   곧 그가 거하시는 곳에서 세상의 모든 거민들을 굽어살피시는도다
15   그는 그들 모두의 마음을 지으시며 그들이 하는 일을 굽어살피시는 이로다
16   많은 군대로 구원 얻은 왕이 없으며 용사가 힘이 세어도 스스로 구원하지 못하는도다
17   구원하는 데에 군마는 헛되며 군대가 많다 하여도 능히 구하지 못하는도다
18   여호와는 그를 경외하는 자 곧 그의 인자하심을 바라는 자를 살피사
19   그들의 영혼을 사망에서 건지시며 그들이 굶주릴 때에 그들을 살리시는도다
20   우리 영혼이 여호와를 바람이여 그는 우리의 도움과 방패시로다
21   우리 마음이 그를 즐거워함이여 우리가 그의 성호를 의지하였기 때문이로다
22   여호와여 우리가 주께 바라는 대로 주의 인자하심을 우리에게 베푸소서
