제 130 편

성전에 올라가는 노래

1   여호와여 내가 깊은 곳에서 주께 부르짖었나이다
2   주여 내 소리를 들으시며 나의 부르짖는 소리에 귀를 기울이소서

3   여호와여 주께서 죄악을 지켜보실진대 주여 누가 서리이까
4   그러나 사유하심이 주께 있음은 주를 경외하게 하심이니이다

5   나 곧 내 영혼은 여호와를 기다리며 나는 주의 말씀을 바라는도다
6   파수꾼이 아침을 기다림보다 내 영혼이 주를 더 기다리나니 참으로 파수꾼이 아침을 기다림보다 더하도다

7   이스라엘아 여호와를 바랄지어다 여호와께서는 인자하심과 풍성한 속량이 있음이라
8   그가 이스라엘을 그의 모든 죄악에서 속량하시리로다

제 148 편

1   할렐루야 하늘에서 여호와를 찬양하며 높은 데서 그를 찬양할지어다
2   그의 모든 천사여 찬양하며 모든 군대여 그를 찬양할지어다
3   해와 달아 그를 찬양하며 밝은 별들아 다 그를 찬양할지어다
4   하늘의 하늘도 그를 찬양하며 하늘 위에 있는 물들도 그를 찬양할지어다
5   그것들이 여호와의 이름을 찬양함은 그가 명령하시므로 지음을 받았음이로다
6   그가 또 그것들을 영원히 세우시고 폐하지 못할 명령을 정하셨도다
7   너희 용들과 바다여 땅에서 여호와를 찬양하라
8   불과 우박과 눈과 안개와 그의 말씀을 따르는 광풍이며
9   산들과 모든 작은 산과 과수와 모든 백향목이며
10   짐승과 모든 가축과 기는 것과 나는 새며
11   세상의 왕들과 모든 백성들과 고관들과 땅의 모든 재판관들이며
12   총각과 처녀와 노인과 아이들아
13   여호와의 이름을 찬양할지어다 그의 이름이 홀로 높으시며 그의 영광이 땅과 하늘 위에 뛰어나심이로다
14   그가 그의 백성의 뿔을 높이셨으니 그는 모든 성도 곧 그를 가까이 하는 백성 이스라엘 자손의 찬양 받을 이시로다 할렐루야

¹There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish son of Abiel son of Zeror son of Becorath son of Aphiah, a Benjaminite, a man of wealth. ²He had a son whose name was Saul, a handsome young man. There was not a man among the people of Israel more handsome than he; he stood head and shoulders above everyone else.

³Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, had strayed. So Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the boys with you; go and look for the donkeys.” ⁴He passed through the hill country of Ephraim and passed through the land of Shalishah, but they did not find them. And they passed through the land of Shaalim, but they were not there. Then he passed through the land of Benjamin, but they did not find them.

⁵When they came to the land of Zuph, Saul said to the boy who was with him, “Let us turn back, or my father will stop worrying about the donkeys and worry about us.” ⁶But he said to him, “There is a man of God in this town; he is a man held in honor. Whatever he says always comes true. Let us go there now; perhaps he will tell us about the journey on which we have set out.” ⁷Then Saul replied to the boy, “But if we go, what can we bring the man? For the bread in our sacks is gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What have we?” ⁸The boy answered Saul again, “Here, I have with me a quarter shekel of silver; I will give it to the man of God, to tell us our way.” ⁹(Formerly in Israel, anyone who went to inquire of God would say, “Come, let us go to the seer”; for the one who is now called a prophet was formerly called a seer.) ¹⁰Saul said to the boy, “Good; come, let us go.” So they went to the town where the man of God was.

¹¹ As they went up the hill to the town, they met some girls coming out to draw water, and said to them, “Is the seer here?” ¹² They answered, “Yes, there he is just ahead of you. Hurry; he has come just now to the town, because the people have a sacrifice today at the shrine. ¹³ As soon as you enter the town, you will find him, before he goes up to the shrine to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, since he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those eat who are invited. Now go up, for you will meet him immediately.” ¹⁴ So they went up to the town. As they were entering the town, they saw Samuel coming out toward them on his way up to the shrine.

¹⁷"But as the time drew near for the fulfillment of the promise that God had made to Abraham, our people in Egypt increased and multiplied ¹⁸until another king who had not known Joseph ruled over Egypt. ¹⁹He dealt craftily with our race and forced our ancestors to abandon their infants so that they would die. ²⁰At this time Moses was born, and he was beautiful before God. For three months he was brought up in his father’s house; ²¹and when he was abandoned, Pharaoh’s daughter adopted him and brought him up as her own son. ²²So Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds.

²³“When he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his relatives, the Israelites. ²⁴When he saw one of them being wronged, he defended the oppressed man and avenged him by striking down the Egyptian. ²⁵He supposed that his kinsfolk would understand that God through him was rescuing them, but they did not understand. ²⁶The next day he came to some of them as they were quarreling and tried to reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers; why do you wrong each other?’ ²⁷But the man who was wronging his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? ²⁸Do you want to kill me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?’ ²⁹When he heard this, Moses fled and became a resident alien in the land of Midian. There he became the father of two sons.

³¹“Simon, Simon, listen! Satan has demanded to sift all of you like wheat, ³²but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” ³³And he said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death!” ³⁴Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the cock will not crow this day, until you have denied three times that you know me.”

³⁵He said to them, “When I sent you out without a purse, bag, or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “No, not a thing.” ³⁶He said to them, “But now, the one who has a purse must take it, and likewise a bag. And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one. ³⁷For I tell you, this scripture must be fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted among the lawless’; and indeed what is written about me is being fulfilled.” ³⁸They said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” He replied, “It is enough.”

제 32 편

다윗의 마스길

1   허물의 사함을 받고 자신의 죄가 가려진 자는 복이 있도다
2   마음에 간사함이 없고 여호와께 정죄를 당하지 아니하는 자는 복이 있도다
3   내가 입을 열지 아니할 때에 종일 신음하므로 내 뼈가 쇠하였도다
4   주의 손이 주야로 나를 누르시오니 내 진액이 빠져서 여름 가뭄에 마름 같이 되었나이다 (셀라)
5   내가 이르기를 내 허물을 여호와께 자복하리라 하고 주께 내 죄를 아뢰고 내 죄악을 숨기지 아니하였더니 곧 주께서 내 죄악을 사하셨나이다 (셀라)
6   이로 말미암아 모든 경건한 자는 주를 만날 기회를 얻어서 주께 기도할지라 진실로 홍수가 범람할지라도 그에게 미치지 못하리이다
7   주는 나의 은신처이오니 환난에서 나를 보호하시고 구원의 노래로 나를 두르시리이다 (셀라)
8   내가 네 갈 길을 가르쳐 보이고 너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다
9   너희는 무지한 말이나 노새 같이 되지 말지어다 그것들은 재갈과 굴레로 단속하지 아니하면 너희에게 가까이 가지 아니하리로다
10   악인에게는 많은 슬픔이 있으나 여호와를 신뢰하는 자에게는 인자하심이 두르리로다
11   너희 의인들아 여호와를 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다 마음이 정직한 너희들아 다 즐거이 외칠지어다

다윗의 시, 인도자를 따라 부르는 노래

1   여호와여 주께서 나를 살펴 보셨으므로 나를 아시나이다
2   주께서 내가 앉고 일어섬을 아시고 멀리서도 나의 생각을 밝히 아시오며
3   나의 모든 길과 내가 눕는 것을 살펴 보셨으므로 나의 모든 행위를 익히 아시오니
4   여호와여 내 혀의 말을 알지 못하시는 것이 하나도 없으시니이다
5   주께서 나의 앞뒤를 둘러싸시고 내게 안수하셨나이다
6   이 지식이 내게 너무 기이하니 높아서 내가 능히 미치지 못하나이다</sup>

^{8   내가 하늘에 올라갈지라도 거기 계시며 스올에 내 자리를 펼지라도 거기 계시니이다
9   내가 새벽 날개를 치며 바다 끝에 가서 거주할지라도
10   거기서도 주의 손이 나를 인도하시며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시리이다
11   내가 혹시 말하기를 흑암이 반드시 나를 덮고 나를 두른 빛은 밤이 되리라 할지라도
12   주에게서는 흑암이 숨기지 못하며 밤이 낮과 같이 비추이나니 주에게는 흑암과 빛이 같음이니이다}

14   내가 주께 감사하옴은 나를 지으심이 심히 기묘하심이라 주께서 하시는 일이 기이함을 내 영혼이 잘 아나이다
15   내가 은밀한 데서 지음을 받고 땅의 깊은 곳에서 기이하게 지음을 받은 때에 나의 형체가 주의 앞에 숨겨지지 못하였나이다
16   내 형질이 이루어지기 전에 주의 눈이 보셨으며 나를 위하여 정한 날이 하루도 되기 전에 주의 책에 다 기록이 되었나이다
17   하나님이여 주의 생각이 내게 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 그 수가 어찌 그리 많은지요
18   내가 세려고 할지라도 그 수가 모래보다 많도소이다 내가 깰 때에도 여전히 주와 함께 있나이다}

^{19   하나님이여 주께서 반드시 악인을 죽이시리이다 피 흘리기를 즐기는 자들아 나를 떠날지어다
20   그들이 주를 대하여 악하게 말하며 주의 원수들이 주의 이름으로 헛되이 맹세하나이다
21   여호와여 내가 주를 미워하는 자들을 미워하지 아니하오며 주를 치러 일어나는 자들을 미워하지 아니하나이까
22   내가 그들을 심히 미워하니 그들은 나의 원수들이니이다
23    하나님이여 나를 살피사 내 마음을 아시며 나를 시험하사 내 뜻을 아옵소서
24   내게 무슨 악한 행위가 있나 보시고 나를 영원한 길로 인도하소서}
