 제 18 편

여호와의 종 다윗의 시, 인도자를 따라 부르는 노래,

여호와께서 다윗을 그 모든 원수들의 손에서와 사울의 손에서 건져 주신 날에

 다윗이 이 노래의 말로 여호와께 아뢰어 이르되

1   나의 힘이신 여호와여 내가 주를 사랑하나이다
2   여호와는 나의 반석이시요 나의 요새시요 나를 건지시는 이시요 나의 하나님이시요 내가 그 안에 피할 나의 바위시요 나의 방패시요 나의 구원의 뿔이시요 나의 산성이시로다
3   내가 찬송 받으실 여호와께 아뢰리니 내 원수들에게서 구원을 얻으리로다
4   사망의 줄이 나를 얽고 불의의 창수가 나를 두렵게 하였으며
5   스올의 줄이 나를 두르고 사망의 올무가 내게 이르렀도다
6   내가 환난 중에서 여호와께 아뢰며 나의 하나님께 부르짖었더니 그가 그의 성전에서 내 소리를 들으심이여 그의 앞에서 나의 부르짖음이 그의 귀에 들렸도다
7   이에 땅이 진동하고 산들의 터도 요동하였으니 그의 진노로 말미암음이로다
8   그의 코에서 연기가 오르고 입에서 불이 나와 사름이여 그 불에 숯이 피었도다
9   그가 또 하늘을 드리우시고 강림하시니 그의 발 아래는 어두캄캄하도다
10   그룹을 타고 다니심이여 바람 날개를 타고 높이 솟아오르셨도다
11   그가 흑암을 그의 숨는 곳으로 삼으사 장막 같이 자기를 두르게 하심이여 곧 물의 흑암과 공중의 빽빽한 구름으로 그리하시도다
12   그 앞에 광채로 말미암아 빽빽한 구름이 지나며 우박과 숯불이 내리도다
13   여호와께서 하늘에서 우렛소리를 내시고 지존하신 이가 음성을 내시며 우박과 숯불을 내리시도다
14   그의 화살을 날려 그들을 흩으심이여 많은 번개로 그들을 깨뜨리셨도다
15   이럴 때에 여호와의 꾸지람과 콧김으로 말미암아 물 밑이 드러나고 세상의 터가 나타났도다
16   그가 높은 곳에서 손을 펴사 나를 붙잡아 주심이여 많은 물에서 나를 건져내셨도다
17   나를 강한 원수와 미워하는 자에게서 건지셨음이여 그들은 나보다 힘이 세기 때문이로다
18   그들이 나의 재앙의 날에 내게 이르렀으나 여호와께서 나의 의지가 되셨도다
19   나를 넓은 곳으로 인도하시고 나를 기뻐하시므로 나를 구원하셨도다
20   여호와께서 내 의를 따라 상 주시며 내 손의 깨끗함을 따라 내게 갚으셨으니

12   예루살렘아 여호와를 찬송할지어다 시온아 네 하나님을 찬양할지어다
13   그가 네 문빗장을 견고히 하시고 네 가운데에 있는 너의 자녀들에게 복을 주셨으며
14   네 경내를 평안하게 하시고 아름다운 밀로 너를 배불리시며
15   그의 명령을 땅에 보내시니 그의 말씀이 속히 달리는도다
16   눈을 양털 같이 내리시며 서리를 재 같이 흩으시며
17   우박을 떡 부스러기 같이 뿌리시나니 누가 능히 그의 추위를 감당하리요
18   그의 말씀을 보내사 그것들을 녹이시고 바람을 불게 하신즉 물이 흐르는도다
19   그가 그의 말씀을 야곱에게 보이시며 그의 율례와 규례를 이스라엘에게 보이시는도다
20   그는 어느 민족에게도 이와 같이 행하지 아니하셨나니 그들은 그의 법도를 알지 못하였도다 할렐루야

⁵O house of Jacob,
     come, let us walk
     in the light of the LORD!
⁶For you have forsaken the ways of your people,
     O house of Jacob.
Indeed they are full of diviners from the east
     and of soothsayers like the Philistines,
     and they clasp hands with foreigners.
⁷Their land is filled with silver and gold,
     and there is no end to their treasures;
their land is filled with horses,
     and there is no end to their chariots.
⁸Their land is filled with idols;
     they bow down to the work of their hands,
     to what their own fingers have made.
⁹And so people are humbled,
     and everyone is brought low —
     do not forgive them!
¹⁰Enter into the rock,
     and hide in the dust
from the terror of the LORD,
     and from the glory of his majesty.
¹¹The haughty eyes of people shall be brought low,
     and the pride of everyone shall be humbled;
and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.
¹²For the LORD of hosts has a day
     against all that is proud and lofty,
     against all that is lifted up and high;
¹³against all the cedars of Lebanon,
     lofty and lifted up;
     and against all the oaks of Bashan;
¹⁴against all the high mountains,
     and against all the lofty hills;
¹⁵against every high tower,
     and against every fortified wall;
¹⁶against all the ships of Tarshish,
     and against all the beautiful craft.
¹⁷The haughtiness of people shall be humbled,
     and the pride of everyone shall be brought low;
     and the LORD alone will be exalted on that day.
¹⁸The idols shall utterly pass away.
¹⁹Enter the caves of the rocks
     and the holes of the ground,
from the terror of the LORD,
     and from the glory of his majesty,
     when he rises to terrify the earth.
²⁰On that day people will throw away
     to the moles and to the bats
their idols of silver and their idols of gold,
     which they made for themselves to worship,
²¹to enter the caverns of the rocks
     and the clefts in the crags,
from the terror of the LORD,
     and from the glory of his majesty,
     when he rises to terrify the earth.
²²Turn away from mortals,
     who have only breath in their nostrils,
     for of what account are they?

¹Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we decided to be left alone in Athens; ²and we sent Timothy, our brother and co-worker for God in proclaiming the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you for the sake of your faith, ³so that no one would be shaken by these persecutions. Indeed, you yourselves know that this is what we are destined for. ⁴In fact, when we were with you, we told you beforehand that we were to suffer persecution; so it turned out, as you know. ⁵For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to find out about your faith; I was afraid that somehow the tempter had tempted you and that our labor had been in vain.

⁶But Timothy has just now come to us from you, and has brought us the good news of your faith and love. He has told us also that you always remember us kindly and long to see us — just as we long to see you. ⁷For this reason, brothers and sisters, during all our distress and persecution we have been encouraged about you through your faith. ⁸For we now live, if you continue to stand firm in the Lord. ⁹How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy that we feel before our God because of you? ¹⁰Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you face to face and restore whatever is lacking in your faith.

¹¹Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus direct our way to you. ¹²And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you. ¹³And may he so strengthen your hearts in holiness that you may be blameless before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

²⁷Some Sadducees, those who say there is no resurrection, came to him ²⁸and asked him a question, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies, leaving a wife but no children, the man shall marry the widow and raise up children for his brother. ²⁹Now there were seven brothers; the first married, and died childless; ³⁰then the second ³¹and the third married her, and so in the same way all seven died childless. ³²Finally the woman also died. ³³In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will the woman be? For the seven had married her."

³⁴Jesus said to them, "Those who belong to this age marry and are given in marriage; ³⁵but those who are considered worthy of a place in that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. ³⁶Indeed they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are children of God, being children of the resurrection. ³⁷And the fact that the dead are raised Moses himself showed, in the story about the bush, where he speaks of the Lord as the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. ³⁸Now he is God not of the dead, but of the living; for to him all of them are alive." ³⁹Then some of the scribes answered, "Teacher, you have spoken well." ⁴⁰For they no longer dared to ask him another question.

제 126 편

성전에 올라가는 노래

1   여호와께서 시온의 포로를 돌려 보내실 때에 우리는 꿈꾸는 것 같았도다
2   그 때에 우리 입에는 웃음이 가득하고 우리 혀에는 찬양이 찼었도다 그 때에 뭇 나라 가운데에서 말하기를 여호와께서 그들을 위하여 큰 일을 행하셨다 하였도다
3   여호와께서 우리를 위하여 큰 일을 행하셨으니 우리는 기쁘도다
4   여호와여 우리의 포로를 남방 시내들 같이 돌려 보내소서
5   눈물을 흘리며 씨를 뿌리는 자는 기쁨으로 거두리로다
6   울며 씨를 뿌리러 나가는 자는 반드시 기쁨으로 그 곡식 단을 가지고 돌아오리로다

제 62 편

다윗의 시, 인도자를 따라 여두둔의 법칙에 따라 부르는 노래

1   나의 영혼이 잠잠히 하나님만 바람이여 나의 구원이 그에게서 나오는도다
2   오직 그만이 나의 반석이시요 나의 구원이시요 나의 요새이시니 내가 크게 흔들리지 아니하리로다
3   넘어지는 담과 흔들리는 울타리 같이 사람을 죽이려고 너희가 일제히 공격하기를 언제까지 하려느냐
4   그들이 그를 그의 높은 자리에서 떨어뜨리기만 꾀하고 거짓을 즐겨 하니 입으로는 축복이요 속으로는 저주로다 (셀라)
5   나의 영혼아 잠잠히 하나님만 바라라 무릇 나의 소망이 그로부터 나오는도다
6   오직 그만이 나의 반석이시요 나의 구원이시요 나의 요새이시니 내가 흔들리지 아니하리로다
7   나의 구원과 영광이 하나님께 있음이여 내 힘의 반석과 피난처도 하나님께 있도다
8   백성들아 시시로 그를 의지하고 그의 앞에 마음을 토하라 하나님은 우리의 피난처시로다 (셀라)
9   아, 슬프도다 사람은 입김이며 인생도 속임수이니 저울에 달면 그들은 입김보다 가벼우리로다
10   포악을 의지하지 말며 탈취한 것으로 허망하여지지 말며 재물이 늘어도 거기에 마음을 두지 말지어다
11   하나님이 한두 번 하신 말씀을 내가 들었나니 권능은 하나님께 속하였다 하셨도다
12   주여 인자함은 주께 속하오니 주께서 각 사람이 행한 대로 갚으심이니이다
