These grants are limited to new congregations and new worshiping communities that are related to the Presbyterian Church (USA), are located within the United States and Puerto Rico and were established no earlier than July 2010. NNPCW’s academic scholarship program helps equip young women to be leaders in both church and society. A $1,500 scholarship is available for an NNPCW member active in empowering women on her campus.
Scholarships are available to young women ages 18-25 to attend conferences and workshops as a representative of NNPCW. Events should be geared toward young adults or women.
By attending conferences, you can connect with other church leaders, deepen your understanding of PC(USA) and specific ministries and engage in fellowship.
The scholarships provide financial assistance to defray the cost for registration fees and travel expenses.
Recipients of the scholarships are expected to attend events as NNPCW representatives and to complete a brief report to help other young college-age women learn from their experiences.
